  • What is the registration cost?
    The early-bird conference fee of $999 is in effect through June, 2016. Early Advantage pricing of $1,149 begins July 1 through August 31, 2016. The Final Countdown price is $1,299 from September 1 through October 23, 2016. The onsite price increases to $1,499.
  • Do you have a volume discount?
    We offer a Buy 4 Get 1 Free discount. All additional tickets will also receive a 20% discount. These can be a mix of conference only and tickets that include the pre-conference BrightEdge University training. Contact us for details at
  • What is included in my registration fee?

    Your registration fee covers all Share16 activities, including access to sessions and exhibits. The fee also covers social activities, including the Welcome Reception on Monday, October 24 and the Networking Night on Tuesday, October 25 including food and drinks available at those events. Breakfast and lunch on Tuesday, October 25 and Wednesday, October 26 are also covered.

    There is an additional charge for participating in either level of certification on Monday, October 24. Those taking the full certification with morning and afternoon sessions on Monday will also have lunch provided while those only taking the 1/2 day certification update class will not receive lunch.

  • I have registered, but need to make a change to my information. What do I do?

    You can modify your profile by logging in to My Registration at the top of the page or through a link on your confirmation email. Once logged in, you can change your personal information, and add and/or modify your session selections.

    You will need the registration confirmation number you received in your confirmation email. If you don't have it you will be able to request the confirmation number be sent to you on the My Registration log in page.

Hotel and Travel

  • Are there special hotel rates?
    Yes. BrightEdge has arranged a discounted rate of $369 per night at the Westin St. Francis throughout the conference dates. This rate is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and is available until October 7, 2016, or until the room block is sold out.
  • How do I make my hotel reservation at the Westin St. Francis?
    We encourage you to register with the St. Francis as the BrightEdge Share16 room block at the discounted rate is limited. Hotel reservations can be made online.
  • What is the weather like in San Francisco in October?
    October is one of the best months to visit San Francisco. The weather is typically warm and sunny with very little fog. Temperatures ranging an average 55-70 degrees Fahrenheit, with very little chance of precipitation. However, always have a jacket for evenings if needed.
  • Do you have any help for my travel plans?
    Our hotel and travel page offers information on the conference hotel, airports, driving and parking options.
  • How do I request a visa invitation?

    You can request a visa invitation letter to assist in obtaining your visa to attend Share16. You must register for the conference prior to requesting a visa invitation. Please send an email to and provide the following information:

    • First name as listed on passport
    • Last name as listed on passport
    • Full name as listed on registration
    • Country of origin
    • Passport number
    • Passport expiration date
    • Date of birth
    • Full address of your local United States embassy/consulate

    Please note that by requesting a visa invitation letter, this does not guarantee that your local authorities will grant a visa to attend Share16.


  • What kind of content will be covered?
    Share16 offers different break-out tracks. Each track will have a series of sessions focused on the key issues facing each audience. After the agenda is posted and as you register, you should feel free to look at your options within each time slot and select the one of most value to you.
  • What is the format of the break-out sessions?
    Within each track participants will hear success stories and best practices from the industry's brightest stars. Within each session, there will be key topics discussed and time for interactive discussions with audience members on how to apply learnings to address their specific challenges.
  • What are Hands-on Labs?
    We’ve expanded the program for Share16 adding two types of hands-on labs. BrightEdge Labs will allow you to focus on learning how to use the latest features and technologies of the BrightEdge platform. Sponsored Labs will provide you with the opportunity to experience firsthand how to harness the power of their products. Hands-on lab attendees will be required to bring their own laptops to participate in these sessions.
  • What are Roundtables?
    Roundtables are a venue for like-minded professionals to participate in discussions of hot topics relevant to them. During registration and prior to the event you have the opportunity to sign up for and participate in discussions of hot topics of the highest interest to you.
  • How can I register for sessions?
    We highly recommend that you register for all sessions you wish to attend. Registered attendees will be able to build their own agendas once the session schedules have been finalized. You can build your own agenda by selecting from a variety of sessions, labs and discussion groups during each time slot. All Discussion Forums will be posted to the site prior to the Conference. Pre-selecting your customized agenda will allow you to navigate the conference most efficiently as we will provide you a printed copy of your agenda at the event and you will be able to see by logging into the event site. Your selections will help us place the most popular sessions into the largest rooms but won’t guarantee you a seat as all sessions will be open to all attendees until they reach capacity.
  • I have registered for sessions but want to make a change. How can I do that?
    Once you have registered, you can modify your agenda at any time by logging in. Once logged in, deselect sessions you want to change and replace with other sessions.
  • How can I request a Press Pass?
    Share16 passes will be available to qualified members of the media. To request a pass, please contact our team at Include your full name, the outlet you represent, and your specific area of interest in Share16.


  • What meals will be provided at Share16?
    Breakfast and lunch are provided for the General Conference on Tuesday, October 25 and Wednesday, October 26. In addition, hors d’oeuvres will be served at the Welcome Reception the evening of Monday, October 24, and food and drinks will be served at the Networking Night event on the evening of Tuesday, October 25. There will be no Breakfast for the Certification training on Monday. If you are taking the full certification with morning and afternoon sessions a lunch will be provided. If you are only taking a half day certification then no lunch will be provided.
  • Whom should I contact if I have special dietary needs or allergies?
    Please note any dietary preferences or allergies when you register for Share16.
  • Whom should I contact if I need special accessibility accommodations?
    The Westin St. Francis is fully ADA certified. If you have questions regarding specific accommodations please let us know during registration.
  • What is the recommended attire for Share?
    Attire for Share16 is business casual.
  • Are photographs allowed at Share16?
    You are welcome to take and post photos and short videos during Share16. Photographs and/or videos taken at Share16 by BrightEdge, or others on behalf of BrightEdge, may include your image or likeness. You agree that BrightEdge may use such photographs and/or videos for any purpose without compensation to you.

  • Are spouses or children invited to social activities?
    A badge is required to attend all Share16 events and activities. No guests will be allowed to attend.

Registration Substitutions:

Requests to substitute a registrant must be made to the event manager at no later than Monday, October 10, 2016.

Payment Policy:

Full payment is required at time of registration. Only American Express, MasterCard, or Visa credit card payments are accepted. The payment will serve as an agreement to adhere to the payment, cancellation and substitution policy clauses.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation requests made to the event manager at no later than August 31, 2016 will receive a full refund. Cancellations on or after September 1, 2016 and before October 1, 2016 will be charged a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds are available starting on October 1, 2016.

Code of Conduct:

BrightEdge reserves the right to refuse admittance to, or remove any person from Share16 (including future Share conferences) at any time at its sole discretion. This includes but is not limited to attendees behaving in a disorderly manner. We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity, age, race, national identity, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form.
