RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the design and development of key back-end components in Java, Python, and PHP
- Develop highly scalable systems using open source technologies like Nutch, Hadoop, HBase, and cloud technologies

- Be ready and willing to tackle any challenge
EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of experience or advanced degree
- Proven history of building highly performant, scalable architectures
- Disciplined approach to development, testing, and quality assurance
- Experience with column-orientated databases (HBase, Cassandra, HyperTables)
SKILLS
- Advanced knowledge of Java and Python
- Ability to write custom map/reduce jobs
